Tomás Almeida has headed Vinces’ office in Portugal since February 2026, leading the firm’s growth in the Portuguese market.
Since joining the firm, he has brought in new strategic clients, including a leading international energy storage company—a sector poised to play a central role in the Portuguese and European energy transitions—and has strengthened the firm’s public affairs practice in regulated sectors, with a focus on infrastructure, mobility, and European funding.
He joins Vinces after a career in institutional relations and corporate diplomacy at Schréder, a global leader in connected street lighting solutions, and in the legal department of Brisa – Auto Estradas de Portugal, where he gained experience in negotiating and managing public-private partnerships in areas such as smart cities, mobility, and infrastructure. At the same time, it is Economic Diplomacy Advisor for Belgium.
