Jorge Vázquez joined Vinces in 2022 as director of the Health practice and has been a partner at the firm since 2026.

Since joining the organization, Vázquez has fostered collaborative agreements between companies, the Spanish government, scientific societies, professional associations, and patient organizations, and has developed innovative funding models for orphan drugs for rare diseases and advanced therapies. His work focuses on aligning the needs of the healthcare system with solutions that deliver value in healthcare and contribute to its sustainability.

A pharmacist with a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from the University of Valladolid, he spent more than two decades working in the Spanish pharmaceutical industry, holding positions of increasing responsibility in public affairs, institutional relations, and market access: health policy, the generation of pharmacoeconomic evidence, pricing strategy, and negotiations with the National Health System, regulatory agencies, and hospitals.

He also serves as the national representative for the pharmaceutical industry on the General Council of Official Colleges of Pharmacists, has been an associate professor at Francisco de Vitoria University, and is a faculty member in the leading executive training programs for the pharmaceutical industry. His work has been recognized with awards from Correo Farmacéutico for initiatives in treatment adherence and electronic prescribing, as well as an honorable mention from the Condesa de Fenosa Research Awards of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of Galicia.
